Suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuure...
Why do people still trust "news" they find on Facebook?
Love to get my news from 4chan
Apparently he just posted an addendum underneath that post ("Hmmmmmm...IDK"), so maybe he's skeptical of this too, despite being a fervent QAnon-disciple.
Don't these dum dums realize that if that even had a shred of truth, like if Hunter Biden met with DOJ lawyers to talk about the fucking weather or something, it'd be all over their state news network?
(Don't actually answer that... I know it's just them believing what they want to believe.)

Similar 'save-face' response I'd see when people on Facebook would post 'Obama staged Sandy Hook' videos in 2012. They sorta knew how crazy they sounded so they always ended their post with, "Not saying this is true, just that it's.... Interesting!"

Basically the “I’m just putting out information” level of cover my ass.
My only MAGA friend on FB just posts boring pics of himself at the gym. He's on mute for the foreseeable future.
For the record, South Carolina actually did have voter drop boxes, and the legislature decided to ban them exclusively for this one election.  Apparently, some counties had to tape up their existing drop boxes with saran wrap to make sure voters didn’t use them.

Regardless, this clip is still funny:

Quote:Fox anchor: Let me push back on the idea that voters are suppressed. What about voter dropboxes?

Clyburn: South Carolina doesn't have dropboxes.

Fox anchor: My understanding is every state had them.

Clyburn: We tried, the legislature said no.

Fox anchor: I stand corrected.
One of my lame coworkers hid all the remotes in the break room so everyone has to watch Fox News today.
I wonder how long that will last.
I mean, you can just pull the plug.
break all the tvs?
Why shouldn't the president be the one deciding whether or not he is the winner of the election? I'm a big idiot, someone please help me.

Quote:Brian Kilmeade is Mad that Biden's campaign manager said Trump won't be declared a winner tonight, because "I think the president has a say in whether he wins or not"

If the president voted, he technically has a say in it.
Not quite Karl Rove freaking out, but I'll take it.
The "Fox News sucks" chant is fun:

The one thing I can always say about Fox is that it's quite entertaining during meltdown mode:

Quote:On Fox News, Kellyanne Conway tries to ding O'Malley Dillon for saying Biden would be victorious.

@marthamaccallum: "Kellyanne, the president came out on election night and said he won."

KC: "I think what the president was meaning there was he had won earlier in the night.."
Tucker thinks the news media have the power to shut down the election... and censor the posts of conservative users of privately-owned social media companies.

I'm in the wrong business!

Quote:So, let’s say that the news networks decide to do that. Shut it down. What then? Donald Trump and his voters would complain, obviously, but what can they really do? They are not news anchors. They don’t own their own channels. And if you wanted to stop them from complaining, it wouldn’t be very hard. You would just accuse them of attacking democracy. Then, you would censor their social media posts. You might even pull the president off Twitter completely.
Pam Bondi really is the worst:

Quote:Tonight's lying on Fox News is out of control. Hannity, Ted Cruz, Lindsey Graham & Pam Bondi have all repeated Trump's lie that Philadelphia is blocking his poll watchers from observing the ballot counting. Bondi herself has been watching the ballot count. I watched her walk in.
Wow, they just got nothing:

I actually don't drink coffee and have stepped inside a Starbucks a few times with other people, so I guess I'm a libertarian now?
Wow, they don't even remember why they hate us.

Trump is clearly one of the kids she's talking to.

Last time I was in Starbucks my name was labelled 'Ryan'...

...so at least they give you cooler names.

Quote:For another night, Fox executives Suzanne Scott and Jay Wallace, and Rupert and Lachlan Murdoch, are allowing the pro-Trump propagandists they employ to use their air to undermine confidence in the integrity of the US voting system with dishonest and dangerous rhetoric.
So, business as usual, then?

He's harped on the Starbucks thing on multiple occasions. They're all so goddamn weird.
Starbucks should jump on this.
McConnell's on board, but Murdoch isn't at the moment:

Quote:Fox News just cut away from @PressSec, saying the network could not in good conscience continue to air her false claims, for which she has provided no supporting evidence.
Yeah I want to spew hatred on both of these men, but one of them helped get Die Hard made. The other helped get the Supreme Court unmade.

I know this is a terrible choice to have to consider, but you know the answer to this.
I like this:

https://www.mediaite.com/tv/ex-australia...tors-face/

Quote:Former Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull recently had an intense clash with the editor of a conservative-leaning newspaper who he accused of carrying out Rupert Murdoch’s anti-climate change agenda.

Turnbull and The Australian editor-at-large Paul Kelly appeared together on the talk show Q+A, during which the two clashed over the media’s role in covering climate science.

Kelly took issue with what he considers to be news outlets serving as “propagandist” for “radical action on climate change.”

The Australian is owned by News Corp, and Turnbull locked onto that fact as he blasted the Murdoch media empire for the negative editorial approach it often takes on global warming and climate change.

“The company you work for and its friends in politics like [President Donald] Trump and others have turned this issue of physics into an issue of values or identity,” Turnbull said. “Saying you believe or disbelieve in global warming is like saying you believe or disbelieve in gravity. You’ve turned something that should be a question of engineering and economics into undiluted ideology and idiocy, and we are paying the price in delayed action.”

Turnbull went on by saying Murdoch and News Corp deserve much of the blame for climate change denialism, and they have done “enormous damage to western democracy.” He also recalled how Murdoch-owned news outlets were accused of pushing climate disinformation earlier in the year while Australia was being ravaged by wildfires.

We had 12 million of hectares of our country burnt last summer and your newspapers were saying it was all the consequence of some arsonists, and James Murdoch was so disgusted, he disassociated himself from the family business. What does that tell you? How offensive, how biased, how destructive does it have to be, Paul, before you will say ‘it’s enough, I’m out of it?’

Kelly shot back by telling Turnbull “how dare you [lecture me],” to which Turnbull said “it’s about time” for people in Murdoch’s world to speak up and stand against this.
