Right now its only the out-in-the-open nazis like Nick Fuentes saying this, but I bet we're only a few weeks from somebody like Ron Johnson saying maybe the Taliban are Good, Actually, and then Tucker Carlson does a week's worth of live shows from Kabul.
Tucker's supposed source here was arrested last week on underage sex trafficking charges:

Quote:The person that Miranda Devine and Tucker are relying on as their unimpeachable source that Ilhan Omar married her brother is Anton Lazzaro, who was recently charged with underage sex trafficking.

In fact, they imply Lazzaro was only arrested because he was about to reveal this.

A video can be found at the link.

Of *course* she's a NY Post columnist.

That headline really says it all about Tucker and Fox News as a whole. Fucking slime.
Must be a mystery!

Quote:Incredible -- Fox News just reported "no word on a possible motive" for DC bomb threat suspect Floyd Ray Roseberry, even though Roseberry posted video rants in which he echoed right-wing Trump and Fox News talking points
Is it incredible, though? Unexpected is more like it.
We're on day 10 million of Tucker Carlson being an asshole:

https://www.mediaite.com/tv/tucker-carls...-to-a-man/

Quote:Fox News’ Tucker Carlson opened his show going after Oregon Governor Kate Brown’s newly announced covid policies on Wednesday night, but he started off with a tangent about her sexuality.

Brown announced a new outdoor mask mandate in the state for everyone, including vaccinated people, over concerns about the spread of the delta variant.

Carlson slammed Brown over this, but not before a riff about her being bisexual:

"Why is this relevant? Well, the media didn’t explain, they told us without exactly explaining what it meant, that this fact was historic and it was highly thrilling. Kate Brown’s sex life was shattering ceilings. Woo-hoo."

The Fox News host then actually proceeded to say it is “weird” and “confusing” that a bisexual woman would be married to a man:

And yet if you looked a little closer, you noticed something a little weird. Actually Kate Brown was married to a man. Yes, he had a different last name, but he was still, as they say on TikTok, binary. He was a dude. That’s fine, of course, but it was also a little confusing. How does having a groom at her wedding make Kate brown an official member of the LGBTQ! community? No one bothered to ask.
Biggest scandal ever?  You decide!

How fast opinions change:

https://www.mediaite.com/tv/foxs-pete-he...of-people/

Quote:Stop me if you’ve heard this one before: some local establishment declares that it will not welcome supporters of President Donald Trump, prompting a week of outraged segments on Fox News decrying liberal intolerance.

That was a regular occurrence during the Trump years. And as it turns out, Fox News hosts are somewhat more amenable to that sort of intolerance now that the president is Joe Biden.

During Wednesday’s edition of Outnumbered, Fox News hosts praised a Florida diner owner for barring Biden supporters from her establishment because of the president’s handling of the withdrawal from Afghanistan.

The diner owner posted a sign in the window informing would-be customers to leave if they voted for Biden, or if they continue to support him.
Didn't these same dumbfuck business owners bitch ceaselessly all last year about having to close, and NOW THEY DON'T WANT CUSTOMERS?!

Just get a bunch of Dems to roll up in there.  Cause the fuck they gonna do?
Running my business in to the ground to own... well, nothing. I'll lose my house, my wife and end up living in my car, til it gets repo'd.

I know it's a rhetorical question, but waving guns around seems like a real possibility.
Chris Hayes on Fox's mild reaction to the SCOTUS/Texas abortion news:

Quote:This is WILD. I mean, the biggest victory for arguably the central animating cause of the conservative grassroots for the last four decades and NOT A MENTION?

It says something about how they perceive the politics of this, which you can see anywhere you look today.
Classy, Duffy:

https://www.mediaite.com/tv/no-ones-lini...on-rights/

Quote:Last week, actress Bette Midler responded to Texas’s new anti-abortion law that recently went into effect. The legislation essentially bans abortion after six weeks of pregnancy, and incentivizes private citizens to sue those they suspect aided women in getting abortions after that time.

The 75-year-old fired off a terse tweet in which she suggested that women should refuse to have sex until Congress codifies abortion rights into law.

On Monday night, Fox News contributor and former Wisconsin congressman Sean Duffy gave his take while joining his wife Rachel Campos-Duffy who was guest-hosting Primetime.

Campos-Duffy read Midler’s tweet and asked her significant other, “What say you, Sean?”

“The less lefty pregnancies means the less lefty kids, right?” her husband replied.

“We’re already out-producing left Democrats anyway on the children front,” said Campos-Duffy.

“Absolutely,” said Duffy. “But I also think that if the strike only applies to Bette Midler, I don’t think there’s any man in Texas who’s gonna disagree with this ban. They’re like, ‘Of course we’ll take that ban every day of the week.’ No one’s lining up for Bette.”
Man, I remember when that asswipe was my least favorite jerkoff on The Real World.
These demorats sound awful, please stop threatening us with paid parental leave and expanded child tax credits.  I simply want to force women to give birth and nothing more, after that her and baby are on their own, as the good Lord intended.

How horrendous would it be if our own elected officials made this country a better place to live and work instead of treating us like unwanted stepchildren?

Oh wait, not horrendous at all.

Stay mad, Republicans.
I like how "Cradle to Grave" seems to be from conception to age 18. I guess after that we're all just "future dead soldiers" to them...
Authoritarians like authoritarianism, news at eleven:

https://www.mediaite.com/tv/fox-host-say...-men-from/

Quote:Fox News host Rachel Campos-Duffy and network contributor Mike Huckabee questioned Wednesday night if China is “on to something” by limiting childrens’ video game use and banning “sissy” men from TV.

According to recent reports, the Chinese government is limiting young people to only three hours of video games a day on the weekends, and is banning “sissy men” from television.

.....

Campos-Duffy, hosting Fox News Primetime, brought up those reports before telling Huckabee, “Of course I disagree with the authoritarian nature of the Chinese government, but I am a little bit in awe of how seriously they’re taking the future, that they understand that their children are the future.”

“They’re looking at what we’re doing here in the United States, they’re looking at our rotting culture, and they’re saying we don’t want that for our future,” she added.

Huckabee responded by saying, “It’s one of those moments where a lot of American parents are saying, ‘Gee, the Chinese may have something right for once.’ They’re actually limiting the exposure their kids are going to have to all the violent video games.”

He said “it may be that the Chinese are on to something” because “they realize that media can so influence young people and dominate their thinking and shape their values.”

As for the banning of certain types of men from the airwaves, Huckabee remarked, “Can you imagine if some American producer of anything started saying ‘we don’t want any sissy boys,’ which is exactly the phrase the Chinese have used. I just can’t imagine the backlash.”
Ahahaha, that's right, Mike Huckabee, you fucking manly blimp! You ain't no sissy. You'd puke if you had to walk up a flight of stairs, but you ain't no sissy!
It's so interesting the way these people define and understand the concept of freedom.
The hypocrisy of a former reality tv show person who is married to another former reality tv show person talking about "rotting culture" should, by all reasonable calculations, tear the very fabric of reality. Being a reality tv show contestant/"personality"/whore should be a diagnosable condition placed in the DSM V somewhere between narcissism and sociopathy.

Their buzzwords all have loosey-goosey definitions because they have limited vocabularies, but here's how I would define their gibberish:

"freedom" - my God-given and also Constitutionally-protected right to make up my own set of rules for how I live my life, loosely based on what little I do actually know about the Constitution. or the Bible.

"patriot" - someone who loves "freedom" but also simultaneously is hostile towards other people's freedoms that they feel encroach upon their own freedom, so they have kind of a love-hate relationship with "freedom." it's good for them but maybe not good for everyone else.

"research" - this is what "patriots" do to preserve their "freedom," doomscroll through white supremacist social networks and private FB groups to ingest an overwhelming amount of propaganda memes, filling their minds with horseshit, conspiracy and racism to reinforce their desire to eliminate other people's freedoms.

Maybe The Media is what influenced Mike Huckabee's son to murder dogs
It's just incredible to me that these assholes are parents who seem to have Big Substitute Teacher Energy when it comes to raising their own rotten kids. They're just out to lunch.
I'm not sure I've seen one video where flight attendants didn't show respect:

Quote:Jeanine Pirro is mad about Biden saying anti-maskers should respect flight attendants: "Maybe some of the flight attendants ought to show some respect to us."
One thing I've learned from this debacle is that assholes really would appreciate it if you were polite to them.

Surgeon General Vivek Murthy has a lot of patience:

https://www.mediaite.com/tv/man-asks-sur...-immunity/

Quote:Later, Baier played a clip of a man who asked whether it is advisable to expose children to Covid-19 in fect people on purpose, in a strategy similar to how some parents deal with chicken pox.

“I wanted to know whether or not it made sense to allow our children to be exposed to Covid, because the possibility of them dying because of it is so minimal that perhaps we can expose them to Covid and give them a natural immunity,” said the man.

“When somebody got chicken pox, we would take the kids over to the house to be exposed to chicken pox, so as to get it. And I’m just kind of curious about whether or not that would make sense.”

“Well, so it’s a reasonable question to ask,” said Murthy. He elaborated:

Even though kids do better than older adults when it comes to the outcomes of Covid-19, Covid is not harmless in our children. Over this past year-and-a-half, we have lost hundreds of children to Covid-19. We have had thousands hospitalized.

We have one of our highest levels of Covid hospitalizations among kids right now. And we also know that long Covid, which is that syndrome where kids can experience shortness of breath and fatigue and other symptoms for months after their infection, that that affects a not-insignificant number of children.

So the safest thing for us to do is to weigh risks and benefits here. And when we do that, we see that getting vaccinated is actually a much lower-risk and higher-benefit proposition than allowing our kids to get Covid and run the risk of having complications.
AHM JUST ASKING QUESTIONS?!!

Like that dumb kid who raises his hands only to admit he has no idea what’s going on.
Naturally, it was all bullshit:

https://www.mediaite.com/tv/writer-confe...n-segment/

Quote:A man says he authored at least 12 phony letters to Slate’s “Dear Prudence” advice column that were answered either on its website or on the podcast. One of those columns, titled “My Husband Won’t Take His Mask Off–Even for Sex,” inspired a May 27 segment on Tucker Carlson Tonight.

Bennett Madison, who has authored several children’s books, copped to writing the letters in an op-ed published on Gawker on Monday. He said the day after the masked sex letter ran, “I was on my first margarita at a Mexican restaurant when a colleague texted me that it was getting traction on Twitter. I was on my second when another friend alerted me to the fact that the letter had been picked up by Tucker Carlson on Fox News.”

Mediaite covered the that segment at the time.

During the aforementioned segment, guest Clay Travis told Carlson, “If the woman had any sense at all, she would leave her husband.”

Madison said he was thrilled about the attention his letter was receiving, but it also made him uneasy.

“Now, Tucker Carlson made me consider that what I thought of as harmless trolling might actually have evil consequences,” he wrote on Gawker.

“So I quit the game.”
I'm sure full PPE is someone's fetish.
Yeah same thing happened with Alex Jones. Nick Mullen used to write a fake "Mommy Blog" under the name Nicole Mullen. Aleex Jones picked up on it and well....
