Well, he shouldn't be a coward and just call people out specifically then, not lump normal people's asses in with Tucker Carlson.
Yeah...that would've been preferable. If he's hoping to sway anyone's thinking (which...he certainly will not), surely he realizes by now that subtlety is completely lost on them..
What bullshit:

https://www.mediaite.com/online/fox-news...-of-fools/

Quote:Fox News is drawing a great deal of blowback for a misleading headline about Senator Tammy Duckworth (D-IL) not paying property taxes.

On Sunday, Fox published an online piece entitled “Democrat Tammy Duckworth hasn’t paid property tax on her Illinois home since 2015, report says.” The headline was accompanied by this subheading: “The U.S. senator takes advantage of a county tax break for disabled veterans that applies regardless of income, a report says.”

The report Fox aggregated comes from the Chicago Sun-Times, and it looks at how Duckworth is among the 27,000 homeowners in Cook County, IL who haven’t paid property taxes for years. As it were, Fox’s article acknowledges the reason for that is the senator is a disabled veteran and, therefore, eligible for a tax break.

.....

The Sun-Times’ piece quotes Laurence Msall, president of a Chicago tax watchdog group, saying, “We grant people relief regardless of their income situation, and the rest of the community has to pay more. It’s unfair. It’s very hard to monitor. And it’s hard to authenticate who’s getting the value. Is it the needy people? Or is it a large giveaway?”

As it were, Fox’s headline blatantly suggests that Duckworth is freeloading off of her state. Between that and the article’s admission that Duckworth is a disabled veteran who qualifies for the exemption, many news observers were deeply unimpressed by the article’s apparent framing as a hit piece:
Wait'll Fox finds out about how little billionaires pay in taxes!
Even "alleged" billionaires!

Or maybe especially alleged billionaires..

How many normal vaccinated people are encouraging others to avoid the vaccine?

I'd say that group is 100% dickheads.

And now you've made me defend Geraldo.

Dickhead.
Certainly some good questions in there, but no good answers:

Quote:Fox News anchor Chris Wallace confronted Sen. John Barrasso (R-WY) on Sunday over the Republican lawmaker’s full-throated opposition to President Joe Biden’s reconciliation spending package, noting that the bill not only contains provisions Barrasso has supported in the past but that his state would also overwhelmingly “benefit” from the bill

.....

“As you point out, 19 of your fellow Republican senators voted for the bipartisan infrastructure plan in the Senate. You did not. You called the reconciliation bill a freight train to socialism. You and all of the Republicans were refusing the normal course—the bipartisan passage of raising the debt limit. So I guess the question to you and a lot of Republicans is are you viewing these issues on the merits or are you just playing partisan politics?”

.....

Turning his attention to the reconciliation bill, the Fox anchor noted that it contains an extension and increase of the child tax credit that Barrasso himself supported when he voted for former President Donald Trump’s tax cuts in 2017.

“Your state of Wyoming is one of the states that benefits most from the increase in the child tax credit. Why oppose that?” Wallace asked.

After the conservative senator began complaining about the spending bill’s current $3.5 trillion price tag, the Fox News Sunday moderator cut him off, pushing him on the specific details of the child tax credit.

“I guess part of the question is could you have worked with them on this child tax credit which you voted for in 2017? That’s one of the things you are voting against right now,” Wallace continued. “Why oppose that program?”

Dodging the question, Barrasso insisted you had to look at the “entire balance” of the bill before complaining that the package calls for more stringent IRS auditing procedures.

“This is an invasion of privacy,” the senator exclaimed. “Every senator's hearing about this. That is included as well.”

Moving past the child tax credit, Wallace then brought up another item of the spending bill that would help Barasso’s home state quite a bit.

“You talk about things you don't like—like the added IRS agents and added IRS intrusion,” the veteran anchor declared. “Let's talk about another part of the bill which is universal Pre-K.”

He added: “In the state of Wyoming, less than one-quarter of children 3-4, who would be covered in the bill, are enrolled in publicly funded preschool. Less than a quarter. Wouldn’t a lot of Wyoming families benefit from universal Pre-K?”

Barrasso, however, couldn’t bring himself to give credit to the president for anything.

“There’s a number of things that would help Wyoming,” he groused. “Overall, Joe Biden's policies have been hurting the people of Wyoming.”
Well, that's quite the "but."

Quote:Tucker Carlson touted the writings of Ted Kaczynski, the Unabomber, in an interview with Andrew Yang.

Carlson sat down with Yang, who left the Democratic party and is forming a third party, for his daytime show Tucker Carlson Today. He aired part of the interview on his primetime show Wednesday night.

.....

Carlson then brought up the Unabomber:

Ted Kaczynski, I have to say, has written very convincingly on this. The Unabomber. Bad person, but a smart analysis, I think, of the way systems work.

“His argument is that large organizations order time morph into purely self-preservation projects. A big system in the end protects itself and that’s kind of all it does,” he continued.
They don't have any heroes who aren't terrorists?
“We can’t verify that that’s true, but it certainly sounds right.”

https://www.mediaite.com/tv/tucker-carls...nds-right/

Quote:Fox News’ Tucker Carlson made a rather wild claim about President Joe Biden that he openly admitted Thursday night he doesn’t actually know is the truth.

Recently there’s been some question from a few conservatives about a “fake White House set” the president has been holding some events in, including the one when he got his covid-19 booster shot.

The Washington Examiner actually looked into this, and as White House correspondent Christian Datoc explained, these events are held in the South Court Auditorium, which has been used “as the White House’s de facto location to host high-profile events that require additional camera access” for almost 10 years.

.....

In a segment ripping the president and saying “he’s not really in charge,” Carlson showed the pictures of the set and asked, “Why go to the trouble? They already have a White House.”

He proceeded to cite a wild theory he got from Stephen Miller:

The reason Biden uses this bizarre virtual set for televised meetings and not an actual room like the East Room, the Cabinet, the Oval, the Roosevelt, the [Situation] Room, etc., a lot of rooms. The reason he does this is because it allows him to read a script directly from a face-on monitor and without teleprompter glass that can be seen on camera.

Carlson then told viewers, “We can’t verify that that’s true, but it certainly sounds right.”
These scrotes voted to reelect President Covfefe.
What the hell are they even talking about? Jesus Christ..

No...I mean...seriously. I'm genuinely asking. What in the world is she saying? Now literally saying that it's Biden's fault that people who refuse to get the vaccine can't get it? Or that it's difficult in any way to get it? What the flipping flying fuck?
Biden failed because he can't convince the dumdums who watch Fox News to get vaccinated.

It's a laughable attempt at a pivot to reassure faithful viewers that it's not their fault that their family members are dropping like mayflies while chomping down on horse paste and fish tank cleaner.
I guess I should be grateful that I can't begin to understand getting mad about vaccines and then pretending that Biden is making it harder to get the vaccine and getting mad about THAT. All while simultaneously sucking dry the nuts of the guy who fucked this whole thing up the worst. Treating being pathologically incapable of being able to say ONE WORD about Biden that isn't negative as a legitimate viewpoint...I mean. This shit is childish as fuck and it's an (alleged) ACTUAL news program!

"Today on FOX News...did President Biden actually fart while Air Force One was over Arlington National Cemetery? Witnesses say the President was overheard saying "Fuck the unknown soldier AND his tomb" while jerking off to the new Superman comic.. And later...former President Trump shits out ANOTHER solid gold brick. Plus...Melania Trump. Is she the most sexually satisfied wife in America or just the luckiest? Later on FOX.."
A self-described member of the "Dan White Society" has some things to say about Pete Buttigieg's paternity leave:

https://www.mediaite.com/tv/tucker-carls...that-went/

Quote:Tucker Carlson took a potshot at Pete Buttigieg on Thursday night, mocking the Secretary of Transportation’s paternity leave.

Buttigieg, who is gay and married, announced last month he and his husband had become parents.

During a rant on inflation and transportation infrastructure, the Fox News host said, “Pete Buttigieg has been on leave from his job since August after adopting a child – paternity leave, they call it – trying to figure out how to breastfeed. No word on how that went.”
The Dan White society. These some funny motherfuckers..
Carlson's just butt-hurt because his own mother noped out when she saw the horror that she'd unleashed upon the world.
An op-ed on purposefully-bad reporting on Powell's death:

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/...d=msedgntp

Quote:A bunch of mainstream news outlets left out some crucial context Monday. They reported on Colin Powell’s coronavirus-related death and stated that he was fully vaccinated. But some of them initially failed to note something very important: that he had undergone treatment for cancer, which suppresses the immune system and makes surviving the virus significantly more difficult. As the day wore on, this was corrected.

One prominent Fox News reporter even deleted a tweet suggesting that Powell’s death raised new questions about the vaccines. And Fox News media critic Howard Kurtz noted Powell’s condition and said of the vaccines, “Let’s not read anything more into it.”

Carlson did not get that memo. Despite all of it and the fact that his show aired a half-day after the corrective measures began, Carlson pressed forward Monday night by using Powell’s death to question the official case for the vaccines. And he did so while not once mentioning the crucial fact of Powell’s comorbidity.

“Like almost everyone his age, Colin Powell was fully vaccinated against covid, and yet according to his family and doctors, Colin Powell died of covid,” Carlson began.

He went on to say that Powell’s and the deaths of other vaccinated people “tells you you’ve been lied to. Vaccines may be highly useful for some people, but across a population, they do not solve covid.”

.....

But that straw man wasn’t Carlson’s worst journalistic sin Monday night; his failure to mention Powell’s cancer was. It was a textbook case of misleading with incomplete information. And given how well-publicized the debate was over Powell’s comorbidity throughout the day Monday — including among Carlson’s own colleagues — it’s difficult to believe the omission was not deliberate.

Carlson, of course, did have company in this.

Former CBS reporter Sharyl Attkisson, who has often espoused vaccine skepticism, chimed in during the debate over how Powell’s death was being characterized. But her beef wasn’t with how Powell’s cancer wasn’t initially mentioned; it was with the idea that not enough media outlets had stated that he was fully vaccinated.
They'll do this with every-fucking-thing now. Someone vaccinated will die in a car wreck, and they'll be like, "See, this vaccinated person still died!"
The ball's in your court, Boingboing:

https://www.mediaite.com/tv/chris-hayes-...n-bongino/

Quote:Chris Hayes took Cumulus Media and Fox News host Dan Bongino to task on Tuesday over for threatening to quit Cumulus over its Covid-19 policy, but not Fox’s.

.....

Fox News does not have a mandate, but it has some strict protocols in place. The network has employees inputting their vaccine status into a company system, and those who haven’t or are unvaccinated are subject to daily testing.

Nonetheless, Hayes took Bongino to task for what he viewed as having different standards for each company.

Hayes played a clip of Bongino saying, on air, “You can have me or you can have the mandate. But you can’t have both.”

The MSNBC host quipped, “Oh, well, that’s a tough choice.”

“If you do not have an uncle who shares his videos on Facebook,” said Hayes, “that is Dan Bongino, a guy who’s found a niche as one of the MAGA universe side characters.” Hayes called him a “rage-filled former Secret Service agent.”

“Now I should tell you, that guy threatening to quit over a vaccine mandate is in fact fully vaccinated,” he said. “And a part of me wants to give him credit for sticking to his principles and at the very least calling out his employer over its vaccine policy, something that as we’ve noted repeatedly, people like Tucker Carlson don’t have the courage to do. But the thing is, like Tucker, Dan Bongino’s also a Fox News host and weirdly enough he has not threatened nor said one single word about Fox’s strict vaccine protocols that you either vaccinate or test daily. I guess the tough guy routine only goes so far.”
I simply don't understand what that giant-headed lummox has to say that anyone could possibly give a fuck about.

If it ain't steroids, he's no expert.
The world's nicest guy:

https://www.mediaite.com/tv/tucker-carls...el-levine/

Quote:Tucker Carlson reacted to the nation’s first openly transgender four-star officer with unbridled derision on Thursday night and suggested that the Biden administration “has gone crazy.”

On Tuesday, Dr. Rachel Levine, the U.S. assistant secretary for health, was sworn in as an admiral in the U.S. Public Health Service Commissioned Corps, which responds to public health crises. Levine is the agency’s first woman four-star admiral.

“Behind the heavily guarded walls of the White House, everyone has gone crazy,” said Carlson. “Just this week the Biden administration declared that a biological man who wears a dress is now a female admiral. And then they sent that brave four-star female admiral out to deliver a speech that read like something out of a D-Day documentary.”

.....

“Come on,” he said. “They’re daring you to sit there and not say this is ridiculous. But it is, sorry. It is ridiculous. Sorry, not playing along! But they don’t think it is. And so you have to ask yourself, how long will it be before Joe Biden appoints his horse to the Supreme Court? And when he inevitably does do that, you have to ask, how long will it be until CNN informs us, ‘This is a watershed moment for equine rights. Don’t you dare laugh. That would be a hate crime.'”
So he compared her to a horse. Ok..
Microdick conservatives always get big mad when anyone in the armed forces (which many conservatives coincidentally found themselves too busy to join as younger men) is gay or trans because microdick conservatives are homophobic and their delicate feelings are hurt when people they're scared shitless of can thrive in an environment that said microdicks ran away from screaming.
They must have nightmares about Kristen Beck and Ashley Nefzger.
On behalf of all non asshole Pennsylvania residents who had Dr. Levine as our Secretary of Health, please Tucker, please take your bow tie and shove it up your nasal cavity until it touches your optical nerve.

I've mentioned the bar that I go to tends to cater to conservatives (though cheap beer brings everyone of every political affiliation together), and I guy I know is active military.  Dude the patrons fawn over him, especially when he comes in uniform.  And I always chuckle cause the man despises Republicans, Trump, libertarians etc... Not exactly a leftist (more centrist if anything) but he's a good dude.
This is sadly what happens when a network spews vaccine misinformation for months and months and months:
