All right, the official Motorhead FB page posted an image of the front page of a script (look a'here) for a Lemmy biopic, directed by the same guy who did the Lemmy documentary. Let's cast this. Who?

ROGUE ZERO (a live action Star Wars series) starring Diego Luna
Posted by: barry woodward - 11-09-2018, 12:35 AM - Forum: Television - Replies (36)

Disney Chairman and CEO Bob Iger announced today that Lucasfilm is in development on a second Star Wars live-action series for Disney+, the Company’s new direct-to-consumer streaming service. The series, which will go into production next year, follows the adventures of rebel spy Cassian Andor during the formative years of the Rebellion and prior to the events of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Diego Luna will reprise the role of Andor. “Going back to the Star Wars universe is very special for me,” said Luna. “I have so many memories of the great work we did together and the relationships I made throughout the journey. We have a fantastic adventure ahead of us, and this new exciting format will give us the chance to explore this character more deeply.”

The rousing spy thriller will explore tales filled with espionage and daring missions to restore hope to a galaxy in the grip of a ruthless Empire. A release date for the series has not yet been announced. Stay tuned to StarWars.com for the latest updates.

  HOMECOMING on Amazon Prime

From what I gather, nobody seems to have watched this, but it's pretty great! Julia Roberts, Shea Whigham, Bobby Cannavale, Stephan James, Sissy Spacek, all directed by MR. ROBOT's Sam Esmail.

As formally weird as MR. ROBOT, but the story is much more propulsive, with each of the 10 eps here only around 30ish minutes, and the story moves fast enough to withstand Esmaill's occasional pretensions. Roberts, Whigham and Cannavale all kill it. Also, I'm pretty sure they use large chunks of the score from THE THING.

Quote:The Emmy-winning AMC drama Breaking Bad is getting another franchise expansion, with a film that has been quietly been put together for a mid-November through early February shoot in New Mexico. It would join prequel series Better Call Saul.

It is through the New Mexico Film Office that word of the secret project made it to the Albuquerque Journal. No one would comment, but I hear the film is written and will be directed by Breaking Bad creator/executive producer Vince Gilligan, who also co-created and executive produces Better Call Saul.

I hear deals are still being made by Sony for the project, which could be a done as a feature if the producers go down that route or could become a TV film/miniseries if it is sold to a TV network or a streaming platform.

Quote:It is unclear whether cast members from the original series, led by Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul, would return for the film, but I hear the hope is that deals will close for actors to reprise their roles.
