Took a loooooong (and unnecessary) break.

Haven't stopped going to Llojeta. Just stopped writing.

But I'm back.

And I didn't stick around too long. Lazy bastard that I am. But thanks for reading all the same.

Here's hoping this is of interest:

Days of Llojeta will continue next week.

So... Here it is. Call me self-indulgent if you must. I'm hoping it's entertaining. Begin reading The Watchmen Experience by clicking on the link below... And cycle through it. Links are provided within for all subsequent chapters... Go ahead and just leave the YouTube clips playing as you read. It's more fun that way.

It's a pretty long piece of shit. But I wouldn't have it any other way. Watching the Watchmen for me turned out to be quite an experience... So it's only fair that it be that way to read about it.

Enjoy.

THE WATCHMEN EXPERIENCE.

I hope this self-indulgence makes up for the fact that it's been a month between blogs.

Sir, that was the epic post of doom!

And now I really want to see Watchmen.

Really great job on these write ups. So much better than just another review.

That was fantastic.

I think you should travel to more countries by coach just to view releases in malls. The subplot with George had me on the edge of my seat!

"Time to do the customs thing again. The only think I have to declare is that Watchmen is a great fucking movie."

Awesome.

God I really hate Evo Morales.

Literally.

I hope he dies.

Don't tell him I said that though, he'll label me a terrorist and shoot me in my underwear.

When Evo Morales’ hunger strike was announced, I laughed like a crazy hyena. What I can’t believe is that his little stunt worked.

The world is going mad!

It’s too bad two other South American countries are run by alternate versions of Morales. Saying these countries are run by monkeys would be an insult… to the monkeys.

You know what I’m talking about, right?

Oh yeah Natalia... Tell me about it.

And a hunger strike might have done that fat piece of shit some good, too.

Oh well... Here's another, more pleasant, blog.

A final shout out to B Action and now I'm out of here...

Seriously, if I didn't mention Molti, Rene or any of the others, it's because I expect you to know who you are.

Being mentioned in your blog. We's famous, baby. Top of da world, ma.

Oh, that was beautiful!!!

And I got a mention. I thank you, sir. Unless you’re talking about another Natalia. If that is the case, I’m an asshole.

By the way, parts of your post felt like The Unofficial CHUD Bloggers’ Manifesto. Very cool indeed.

Excellent assessment. Though I must confess that despite trying to make two of the movies you wrote about one of my birthday gifts, I haven’t seen any of them. Also, I haven’t seen Watchmen. The shame…The shame…

Taking Care of Business (Or: FILOFAX - as I assumed that movie was called when I first saw it on video, years ago) but, most likely, that's because I get a kick out of Mako saying "Nice titties" more than anything else.

Great write up, Erix. I agree on your assessment on 1. Star Trek 2. THE REST. Star Trek set the benchmark really early in the summer, and it's not going to get passed.

As per my write up in the B-Action Thread, (and I may turn it into a blog as well) I really dug Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen.

Can't wait to read about you as Dr. Manhattan.

Christian Bale was in it. He played a McGuffin who actually gets lines of dialog and entire sequences devoted to him.

That actually makes a lot of sense.

Oh yeah, Helena Bonham Carter played an iMac.

Hahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Edited to correct the first part of what I had written. Just saw Watchmen. OMG!!!!!!

Glad you enjoyed it my friends.

Though, let's just be clear that it hasn't necessarily put me off concerts. I mean, I've been to shows that aren't like this.

A friend of mine who is into this sort of music said he also thought it was retarded. As it's not really considered music to "mosh" to. His conclusion: Bolivian fans are stupid.

In any case, it was an interesting experience.

Added note: At one point, Mark Jansen actually told the audience - Don't push each other so much in front. Let's all just have a nice time.

That only made people push more.
