Fox News - this is not satire
Fox News’ main Twitter feed hasn’t posted an article in six days.

The network is boycotting Twitter in solidarity with Tucker Carlson:

Quote:Fox News continued its Twitter boycott for a fourth day on Monday in an apparent attempt to protest how the social media platform handled tweets surrounding a recent rally against Fox News host Tucker Carlson. Both the network’s main Twitter account as well as the accounts of some of its hosts remained silent Monday. However, other hosts and show accounts continued to tweet.

Fox News last tweeted on Thursday, and a number of accounts associated with the network stopped tweeting Thursday or Friday as well. The company hasn’t released any official statement over its Twitter absence, and a spokesperson declined to comment.

Multiple outlets reported over the weekend that the Twitter break was to protest the social media company’s slow response to requests to delete tweets that contained Carlson’s home address. Twitter didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment Monday.

Shouldn't a protest take away something you actually want instead of giving it to you?

If their protest keeps Russian trolls away from posts and diverted to other places, it’s done, um, something right.

I am at a restaurant that had a couple of television. It used to be tuned to CNN, but the owners recognized the clientele of East Tennessee and switch to Fox years ago.

I just watched one of the co hosts of The Five, in the closing minutes of the show, publicly shame the big guy who sat in front of her at some Broadway show over the weekend. She had taken a photo and even recounted her conversation with the man's wife as the Fox personality complained to her.

God damn. Petty motherfuckers. Seriously, you have god damn tv money and you are using that platform to rant about the man who cannot shrink any farther in his seat.

All I can hope is that the arc of justice is long and that when the uprising comes she suffers the fate of old Foulon.

Have they made any public statement of why their accounts are silent yet?

Filling in for Tucker Carlson recently, Mark Steyn called Jamal Khashoggi "a dead so-called journalist" and a "Deep State Saudi spook."

https://contemptor.com/2018/11/23/mark-s...ournalist/

Quote:Filling on for Tucker Carlson on Wednesday night, conservative commentator and Camp of the Saints superfan Mark Steyn dismissed murder Washington Post columnist Jamal Khashoggi as a “so-called journalist” while stating he was really a member of the “Deep State.”

Welcoming on far-right nationalist and Brexi champion Nigel Farage, Steyn and his guest discussed President Donald Trump’s decision to side with the Saudi royal family and Crown Prince Mahommed bin Salman despite MBS’s involvement in the grisly killing of Khashoggi. After Farage noted that the United States should probably be doing and saying more, Steyn wanted to make a point about Khashoggi.

“We should also be clear, too,” Steyn declared. “Khashoggi is being presented as a hero of journalism. He’s probably going to be Time Magazine’s Man of the Year just because he is a dead so-called journalist.”

He added, “But in fact, he was kind of a Deep State Saudi spook who just happened to fall out with the royal family. In a sense, it’s different sets of bad guys we’re arguing about when we’re talking about Saudi Arabia.”

After Steyn’s smear on Wednesday night, a Fox News guest on Friday morning took a similar approach, insisting that Khashoggi wasn’t a journalist and that the Washington Post was culpable in his murder by publishing his writing.

But can he do Tucker's trademark, "Post-lobotomy stare"???

Former EPA chief Scott Pruitt was allowed to approve Fox News show scripts and dictate interview questions on the network:

Quote:Former Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Scott Pruitt was clearly taken aback last year when occasional Fox & Friends fill-in host Ed Henry grilled him about a number of ethical scandals facing his administration.

And Pruitt had a good reason to be surprised. In past interviews with President Trump’s favorite cable-news show, the then-EPA chief’s team chose the topics for interviews, and knew the questions in advance.

In one instance, according to emails revealed in a Freedom of Information Act request submitted by the Sierra Club and reviewed by The Daily Beast, Pruitt’s team even approved part of the show’s script.

Kid Rock on "Fox & Friends" said, "We can disagree and still be cordial with one another."

Thirty seconds later, he said this:

Quote:'Screw that Joy Behar bitch'

The crowd loved it.  He said he was joking, then said he wouldn't apologize for the sentiment.

I hate talking about Kid Rock, but we are currently living in his version of America.

Well, if we're going to ignore Kid Rock, this is a good way to start:

Quote:Musician Kid Rock was replaced as grand marshal in the Nashville, Tenn., Christmas parade following an appearance on “Fox & Friends” Friday in which he called Joy Behar a “bitch.”

Bryan Lewis, the attorney for Steve Smith, Kid Rock’s business partner, told Variety Friday that Kid Rock would still attend the parade even though James Shaw Jr., the Nashville man who wrestled a rifle from a gunman at a local Waffle House in late April, was appointed as his replacement.

So, how is Fox covering the election fraud story in North Carolina?  Well, it's not for the most part, but, when it did, this was the way it was framed:

https://twitter.com/KFILE/status/1070326615475920897

Quote:Fascinating to watch Fox navigate North Carolina 9. Ignored totally on their opinion/most shows. How they introduced it on one of their news programs: "The left has long said there's no problem with voter fraud, so why are they changing their tune now."

1. It's election fraud, not voter fraud.

2.  Ugh.
