Fox News - this is not satire
Speaking of the '90s, remember that movie "Starship Troopers," where they lived in a society that was bifurcated, and people were classified as either Citizens or Civilians, the latter of whom were denied certain rights, like the ability to vote, or have access to a higher education, or even procreate with less red tape?

The only major difference between the movie's depiction of an unequal society and our current crumbling civilization is that in the movie a Civilian could actually become a Citizen.

I'd point out that no one learned anything from this segment, but that's never the point, is it?

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/gerald...d=msedgntp

Quote:Geraldo Rivera, a contributor-at-large with a tenure approaching 20 years at the network, lost his temper when podcaster, Fox News contributor, and frequent "Hannity" guest Dan Bongino told him to "take a Valium" and "stop pretending to be a cop."

"There's a big difference between reporting on a baseball game and playing it, Geraldo. You never wore a badge, period," Bongino said after Rivera talked about Black Americans being three times more likely than whites to be killed in an encounter with police.

"Not interested in your reporting on it, because reporters deal with facts, and you brought the race card into it the other night when we had this debate, despite having no facts to back that up, and when I brought up the facts that there is no systemic racism-" Bongino continued before Rivera cut him off.

.....

"If there was a plague of police officers hunting Black men down at night, then I don't understand, how is that happening?" Bongino said as Rivera grew increasingly irritated. "Where is this massive body count?"

As the commercial music began jingling and crosstalk intensified, Bongino told Rivera "you just wanna see the country burn."

.....

"I wanna see the country burn?" Rivera yelled. "You son of a b----! I wanna see the country burn? You punk! You're nothing but a punk. You're a punk, Bongino. You're a punk."

"You wouldn't tell me that to my face," Bongino replied.

"Oh yeah?" Rivera said as Hannity cut to commercial. "Let's see."

I'm glad they all hate each other, too.

I'm agreeing with Geraldo. Something is terribly terribly wrong..

"You're a punk!"

"Why don't you say that to my face?"

"Maybe I will!"

This isn't even *good* trash TV. This is playground shit.

I thought Geraldo was a Trumper and a conservative and all that. I'm kinda surprised at his opinions about the police. Is he a light conservative? Did he change?

Geraldo's a tabloid sleazoid. He's whatever he thinks will get ratings.

They try to get away with this shit all the time:

Quote:SEAN HANNITY (HOST): We are awaiting the release this hour of Chicago Police bodycam footage that captured the fatal police shooting of a young 13 year old man by the name of Adam Toledo. And if social media is any indication, there's a lot of chatter today about possible unrest. I hope it doesn't happen but with Chicago's track record, every weekend -- you know, I guess, you'd have to go with the odds, considering there are dozens and dozens of shootings and killings every weekend in Chicago -- that this might not be particularly good.

He's been changing for awhile.  This is not the first time he's gotten into it with Fox.

Aww was wondering when we'd return to "but wut about Black on Black crime?!!"

Geraldo is a fucking windsock...he'll go where the $$$ winds blow.
If he can feed his ego by playing contrarian on Fox, he'll do it.
He's done shit like this before.
I used to be with "it", but then they changed what "it" was. Now, what I'm with isn't "it", and what's "it" seems weird and scary to me.   -Grandpa Simpson

I mean, Geraldo doesn't have to be a full ACAB die-hard to be irritated when Bongino is bleating about "where is the body count?" The entire segment wouldn't exist if the body count wasn't everywhere and rising, dipshit.

Gutfeld gets worse every year:

https://www.mediaite.com/tv/watch-greg-g...ews-hosts/

Quote:What was it Gutfeld said that elicited an “oh my God” from Dana Perino, “My goodness” from Juan Williams, and polite but stern push back from Judge Jeanine Pirro? Gutfeld expressed happiness that Chauvin was found guilty even if he wasn’t guilty because that kept people from looting.

“I’m glad that he was found guilty on all charges, even if he might not be guilty of all charges, I am glad that he is guilty of all charges because I want a verdict that keeps this country from going up in flames,” Gutfeld said.

After groans could be heard, Gutfeld got notably defensive, adding, “I’m at least being honest. My neighborhood was looted. I don’t ever want to go through that again.”

.....

Taking a tone that an impatient parent might use with a petulant toddler, Pirro said “now, look Greg” before explaining to her Fox News co-host “We do not sacrifice individuals for the sake of how people feel.”

It takes some doing to be the most cretinous asshole on a Fox show.

Though I'm sure Tucker's going to go to all-new heights of gross-as-fuck race-baiting tonight.

Oh do shut the fuck up, Fashy Spice.

She sounds... disappointed.

It reminds me of some dumb thing our joke of a last president said when discussing the civil unrest in the '60s. I forget the exact quote but it ended with "when were great."

At any rate, these fashies love injustice and the violence that follows. They want the country to tear itself apart, not because they love it, but because they just want to see others in pain.

Tucker Carlson cut off a tough, Mario-looking corrections officer who described Chauvin as using "excessive force," ending with a disturbing laugh that makes it seem like he's switched from Brand X:

That's one of the weirdest things I've ever seen.

This guy gets it:

Quote:The way in which Carlson short-circuits, laughs manically, and cuts off a guest who doesn't follow the party line on Chauvin (don't talk about what he did, but how unfairly he has been treated) is pretty telling.

His reaction was that of a Batman villain.  Dear Lord.  And I am an atheist.

Seems like Carlson's mind is elsewhere too:
