AThe Grown Up With Balloons didn't grab me first time through, but it did grow on a sumbitch a little with repeat visits, especially the "Feelin' - Like I am golden" sections. It's cool hearing you guys swap out vocals at points in Drainman too, although overall the song feels somewhat too disjointed to get good traction.

Cap'n Micro is my favourite so far. It does kind of end with an odd messy abruptness rather than the explosion (or implosion?) it feels like it deserves, but aside from that I'm all for it. Love the triumphant energy, the riffs are sweet as heck and the vocals are on point. Nailed it with the production/engineering too. Don't know what you changed, if anything, between the first two tracks and this one (and the new Nightsticks tracks), but it's hitting the spot I reckon. And "I feed sharks to sharks" is a killer line. This is one of those tunes I just hit play again as soon as it's done.

AI like the adventurousness in the structure of New Disease. My mental and emotional deficiencies make it difficult for me to get into the mellower sections which bookend the song, but I dig everything in between them. The trippy, spooky breakdown at around 3:20 really works a treat for me. There are so many different elements and textures in there and they're assembled with a pretty much perfect sense of momentum and off-kilterness. And as someone who's been rooting for you for as long time I'm into what I take to be the onwards-and-upwards sentiment in the lyrics.

I'm a huge sucker for the more raucous side of your business so Komodo and Brains For Breakfast went right into multiplay repeat mode. Komodo in particular is an absolute ripper, an explosion of joyous jaggedness tightly packed around the core of those filthy pelvis-driven riffs. Love the ride cymbal off in its own channel. Love the cowbell. Love the howl at 1:18. Love the whole thing. Brains for Breakfast blasts off and barrels along with a sweet riffs too, and some killer lines.

I'm a living smithereen
I'm a sentient earthquake

It deserves a video made by George Miller.

Fantastic Album. Cap'n Micro is an easy favorite but there is depth and groove throughout. This isn't novelty rock. This is real shit.
I love "Finding it Out." I love "Creep Truck." (I turn water into blood, then I blood my plants..... I cut up the carpet, then glue it to my face.) There's pathos to this insanity, re: the title track.
"Komodo" is another stomper.
"Danzig's House" is fun, rockin' and Steve's killing the drums, as usual.

I can hardly keep up with everything from the house bands, but I'm dropping my love for this one here.

"If we can't be great, let's be truthful."- Sylvester Stallone, commenting the cinematic rendering of what a mounted .50-cal might do to the flesh of enemies in RAMBO.
