The Alex Jones thread: Because it's time
#36

So, I'm guessing he doesn't really want custody of his kids....?

AHe forgot what grades his kids are in because he ate a bowl of chili.

This is entertaining as hell.

He took his clothes off at a family therapy session?

Hopefully this thread will document Jones FINALLY leaving the public consciousness.

I've got good news and I've got bad news. The bad news is that I have lost my way. The good news is that I'm way ahead of schedule.

"That's one hell of an act.  What do you call it?"

I was thinking more along the lines of no more Info Wars means no more people screaming about false flag attacks at press conferences. That did happen after the Boston Marathon bombing.

InfoWars isn't going anywhere.  The kind of people that follow him probably already believe the whole "Performance Artist" thing is a liberal conspiracy to try to discredit him and bring him down.  If anything, this will rally and strengthen his supporters.

In a modern society like this someone like Jones was inevitable.  He simply caters to mentally exhausted people who realize the fraudulence of the system but can only express it through science fiction idealism like UFOs and big brother paranoia like Government intelligence black ops.  To be fair, our beyond broken government institutions don't do themselves any favors.

ADr. Sherry (therapist) being questioned in court about Alex Jones taking his shirt off during a family therapy session "it's a rare thing 2 have happened"

I still remember that time I ate a bowl of chili and forgot how to wear pants.

AWearing pants while eating chili is just setting yourself up for problems later on.

Conspiracy theorist Alex Jones loses primary custody of his kids

While this could be considered a not-so-funny story, there is dark humor to be found...

AYeah this whole thing makes me happier than it should. I guess I'm more sadistic than I thought.
Reply

AHe's a shitty person and probably a lousy father, so you should be glad. He did this to himself.
Reply
#52
AIt's nearly impossible for the kids to not be better off.

#53
AI'm perfectly good with this. Fuck him and the chemtrails he rode in on.

When you're as stupid as Jones, bad things should happen to you. It was nice he hear some good news today.

AIronic considering I'm pretty sure he created "Sheeple".

He just lost custody of two he created.

AYikes, he's going full "The Wrestler" with his, "You guys are my real family" move. I hope those kids end up in a good spot ... if Jones was serious about getting his kids back he could have told the judge he as going to shut down the performance art and try and become a serious broadcaster. He didn't do that because his show is not an act.
Reply
#60
AIt could just be woefully misplaced priorities. The kids didn't buy him his house, the show did.
Reply
#61

Well he convinced me it's no act. He really believes this shit.

ADemocrats should play clips of Jones' saying crazy shit like insulting the memory of the Sandy Hook victims along with all the times Trump praised and/or spoke to him. Don't wait for 2020 (if Trump doesn't get himself evicted before then), do it for 2018.

Are real

And so are the glowing monkeys

There's a guy on another forum I visit who does this kind of thing and it's fascinating to watch.  It is what makes me think Jones is sincere about at least a certain amount of this stuff.  He's just better at it than most.  It's an ability to gather up info that's superficially factually correct and string this stuff all together into wild overarching interpretations.  Interpretations that are wrong and ridiculous but you can see a little of where it comes from and the basis gives that truthiness I suppose.

(Although Obama being a lizard demon is  bit harder to argue in this fashion)

But I guess the conspiracy mindset has had a lot of thought put into it of late.

Jones is impressive at least because his grasp of all this stuff is pretty comprehensive.  He's the Christopher Hitchens of this shit.  It seems almost impossible to wrong foot him.  He's the ultimate generalist who knows far more than everyone else.  Some of that is probably an authoritative presentation style more than anything else, but it's probably a factor in why people find him convincing.

Alex Jones can just fuck right off.

"Sandy Hook father Leonard Pozner on death threats: ‘I never imagined I’d have to fight for my child’s legacy’ Noah was the youngest victim killed in the 2012 school massacre. His parent talks about dealing with the conspiracy theorists and hoaxers who have taunted him ever since"

Jones on Jimmy Kimmel's son:

https://www.mediamatters.org/video/2017/...ect/216348

Quote:

ALEX JONES (HOST): Oh, look at Jimmy Kimmel, his child has heart defects. It isn’t that they had the child early or had a cesarian, they won’t even tell them that, that that causes heart problems obviously. No, no, no, we’re not going to tell you it’s all the vaccines you took or chemicals you ingested. We’re not going to discuss the vaccines they just gave your child. Let’s just say, “Give us free health care or our babies will die. Don’t our babies deserve it?” When you have state-run health care you have medical tyranny and when you have everyone bound under one system, they can tax you and control you and do whatever they want, once there’s no competition and choice. But it doesn’t matter for the pseudo-intellectuals of Jimmy Kimmel. He can just get up there and say, “We need national health care for my baby.” It’s for the children, sounds so much easier.

I'm so glad they let me out of my cage on occasion to tell you about life in the Soviet Socialist States of Australia with our mind-controlling single payer health care system and a minimum wage of over $17/hour last time I looked ...
