"Masked Singer" star Sarah Palin should maybe stick to bad renditions of Sir-Mix-A-Lot songs:

https://www.mediaite.com/tv/sarah-palin-...-sent-her/

Quote:Former Alaska governor and 2008 vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin leapt right into the conspiracy theory slipstream on Fox News, claiming that she suspected the rioting, looting, and gunshots unleashed inside the Capitol by pro-Trump supporters was actually a false flag operation by the conservative boogeyman-of-the-moment: Antifa.

Her proof for such an explosive charge? Some “pictures” people sent her that she said showed the “same characters” were allegedly at both the MAGA Capitol mob siege supporting President Donald Trump’s plot to overturn the democratic 2020 election and Democratic-led protests over the summer.

Perhaps not surprisingly, Palin did not share any of this supposedly blockbuster evidence with host Martha MacCallum, who asked her about earlier comments condemning the rioters as “fake patriots”

One thing about Limbaugh is he's made me feel better about having Stage 4 cancer...if only I had world-class healthcare!

Limbaugh has nothing to lose at this point. He's actually about to die and so seems happy to throw gasoline on the fire as he goes out.

Wood claims he was just using "rhetorical hyperbole," a phrase which is apparently "Hey, I'm just asking questions" for psychos.

The blanket pardon is inevitable. There's an outside chance that it gets invalidated on the grounds that a POTUS can't pardon criminal co-conspirators in a scheme he himself perpetuated, but I'm not counting on it.

I'm definitely of the opinion that he won't blanket pardon them. If only because those who he did give pardons have some value when he attempts his post-presidency career.  I don't think he needs nameless hicks for that.

But yeah, I guess we'll see.

I'd agree with you if enacting pardons required any cost or actual work on his part.  But he just has to sign a paper, so he'll abuse the shit out of it.

I think we may avoid the blanket pardon simply for the fact of no one in the White House bothering to write it up for him.

Here's a long read on Ashli Babbitt, her personal problems and her distorted views on QAnon and COVID-19:

https://www.washingtonpost.com/dc-md-va/...ump-qanon/

Quote:The politician she revered above all others had lost an election. She’d struggled with crippling amounts of debt. Her home state of California was locking down again because of a virus she believed was fiction.

As she walked east along the Mall on Wednesday, wearing a backpack emblazoned with the American flag, Ashli Babbitt was elated.

“It was amazing to get to see the president talk,” Babbitt said, beaming in a video she streamed on Facebook early Wednesday afternoon that was later published by TMZ. “We are now walking down the inaugural path to the Capitol building. Three million-plus people.”

There was no crowd of three million: just a mob, lawless and maskless, that numbered in the thousands. Babbitt’s mission, which she had repeatedly avowed on social media, was to restore American democracy. But she was about to take part in a riot that would go down in history as one of that democracy’s most grievous attacks.

After a long but undistinguished military career and years of personal travails, Babbitt — a 35-year-old Air Force veteran from Southern California who once supported Barack Obama — believed she had found a cause that gave her life purpose. Within hours, that cause would bring her life to a violent end.

.....

To her comrades in the movement, she was a martyr. Back in California, Babbitt’s brother, Roger Witthoeft, didn’t even know she had attended the protest before their dad, distraught, called him with news of the shooting. He found a video online.

“There was no doubt that it was my beautiful sister,” Witthoeft recalled.

Babbitt’s journey — illuminated through her extensive social media activity, court and military records, and interviews with some who knew her — was one of paranoid devotion and enthusiasm that only increased as Trump’s fortunes waned.

She avidly followed the QAnon conspiracy theory, convinced that Trump was destined to vanquish a cabal of child abusers and Satan-worshiping Democrats. She believed Wednesday would be “the storm,” when QAnon mythology holds that Trump would capture and execute his opponents.

Long before she embraced those ideas, Babbitt was on a rocky path. She was loyal but rebellious, devoted to her country but often unable to get along with those who shared it. A believer in American pluck and free enterprise, she struggled in her attempts to run a small pool-service company outside San Diego.

Pot, kettle, black.

But agreed with the above post in that there's no money in it for Jones, therefore he's good calling it crazy.

So, Jones is admitting that he is complicit in all this?

Admittedly, arresting him would play into his martyr complex but that might be a viable trade off.

This Twitter thread is worth your time.  This guy is the founder and former artistic director of Serenbe Playhouse in Georgia who got embroiled in a scandal and basically reinvented himself as a huge Trump supporter online in quick fashion.

...and now everyone there dislikes him too:
