The show is still Fox' most profitable on Sundays regarding advertising (unless something's changed since I last read about it).  Plus, two more seasons were just ordered.

I think the voice cast will dictate when it ends.

I still watch the show (I want to release a list one day that ranks and reviews every episode).  Season 30 had some really solid stuff, I must say.  Megan Amram wrote a really good episode where Itchy and Scratchy were switched to female, so Milhouse started a boys' rights group.  The show can still have some bite here and there.

Maybe....but I seem to remember Fox trying to go all scabby and hire other voice actors as replacements when there was contract re-negotiations a number of years back. I could easily see Fox doing so again.
I used to be with "it", but then they changed what "it" was. Now, what I'm with isn't "it", and what's "it" seems weird and scary to me.   -Grandpa Simpson

I still need to watch the episode with Marc Maron. The clip they played on the WTF podcast was great.
