I'm cool with it. He was great in BIG LITTLE LIES and LITTLE DRUMMER GIRL, and he has the necessary presence to pull off being the big bad guy.

Skarsgard... we'll see. I'm keeping an open mind. His performance in HOLD THE DARK makes me think they might be on to something.

I rather like the Larry Underwood casting. Adepo is terrific in THE LEFTOVERS and OVERLORD.

The only time where I've liked Skarsgard is Little Drummer Girl, where it's all repression and internal conflict. Not the best for Flagg.

What's with Skarsgard taking all these projects where he shaves his hair in a funny way / dirties himself up / speaks in a goofy accent? Can't these roles go to actual character actors instead of a 7 foot viking?
