Hey gang,
I know that we're all struggling. I've been in what the NFL calls "a building year" since a mental health crisis in January myself. It's July now, and I finally have what looks likely to be a job prospect lined up for the first time this year, but the tax return and the 'rona stimulus are spent and I can't afford basic necessities.
Asking for help is really hard, but it would mean a lot to me if you could post my GoFundMe link in whatever social media platforms you haunt. I'm just looking for the means to get my bank accounts out of overdraft, keep my phone turned on, and pick up some non-food necessities that food stamps won't cover until that first paycheck comes in.
Thanks in advance. That link is: http://www.gofundme.com/f/help-a-homeles...ther-month

This is the rare time I regret deleting my social media accounts, but I'll see if I can get some friends to contribute.

Every little bit helps. They're serious enough about hiring me to have sent me to do the drug screening already, and now I'm waiting on the background check. This could take a while, because I've lived in four states in the last ten years, but I very well could be depositing a paycheck in just a few weeks. I'm just strapped for cash until then.

Donated.
Just don't ask for help with the drug test because I'd flunk that so hard rn.

I'm really bad at remembering them, if security is a concern!

I just donated Reasor. We have all been down before. Here's to the getting back on top part.

Much obliged. People have by this point donated almost four times what I was asking for (!), and I'm going to shut it down once the money filters through the site's confirmation process and I'm able to withdraw. I'm going to be okay. Thanks again, everyone.

As a punctuation mark on all of this, seven months of joblessness just came to an end.
I start a full time job as a delivery driver tomorrow.

Hiring process has been comically slow, and y'all's help has proven a needed lifeline. I have a half day of training tomorrow and look forward to finding out what my full time schedule will be. I do know that it'll be five 8-hour days a week, including weekends, which I requested because it's nice to have a couple days off in the middle of the week for appointments and whatnot.

Great to hear, man. Having gone through the onboarding process myself in the last couple of months, it can be dreadfully slow. Can’t wait to hear about your hum-drum normalcy and regular paycheck!
