Too bad I don't live in Japan. It's a big ol' picture, so here's the link...

That's a lot of Pepsi, though. Now, if it was Vanilla Coke...

God bless Ebay.

Fuck it's gonna cost us and take years to complete, but God bless them nonetheless...

I've got feelers (fellow collectors I haved traded with in the past) out in Japan. I'll let you know what I can get.

On a semi-related note, I have finally acquired all of the Go-Gurt Jedi tubes and all 5 lightsaber pens. I now hate Yoplait yogurt and General Mills cereal. Almost as much as I still hate the trio from hell known as Taco Bell, KFC, and Pizza Hut.

This premium stuff is fun, though. I'm doing this stuff this time instead of all the figures and toys.

Dear Carl:

I hate you for posting that, because I have resisted all merchandise for the film and wanted only to purchase a poster.

Having now seen these caps, and knowing that they are, to my mind, the single coolest use of the Star Wars license EVER, I too would love any information you can provide as to how to obtain these things.

God (Chow Yun-Fat) Bless,

Jason

I thought the EXACT same thing. I'm not a huge Star Wars fanatic (Although I love the films dearly), and I don't really collect any toys (Although I own a pretty decent amount). But damn, these things are BAD ASS. I may end up shelling out a few bucks for a couple of these...

Just scrolled down and realized that they've got 'em for EVERY EPISODE.

I'm fucked.

Nah. Just wait for everything to die down a little. Then you can nab them off eBay for a good deal.

Wait until early-mid 2004. STAR WARS stuff hits peaks and lows... and the lows during movie cycles are right in the middle between movie years.

A year and a half ago, you could have gotten one of the lifesize TPM Yoda's from Pespi for UNDER $200. Now, they're going for $300-500+ easily. Same thing with the bottlecaps from TPM. I almost won a complete set (with the cool Pod Race Arena display stand) for $35. Well, I bid $35 and the winning bidder only beat me by $4. Now, the same set fetches updwards of $100 or more. And it's not because values are going up... they just become inflated for a time during the hype and excitement over a new movie.

Jump on this stuff as soon as it arrives, and you'll be paying MORE for it now than you would in a year or so.

It's all in the timing.

That said, I'm still gonna see what the Japanese folks I know can do. wink

I would rather drink my own piss before letting an ounce of Pepsi touch my lips, but damn if those didn't look cool!

Too much cool shit and not enough dough. Whats a Geek to do?

I need a set or two of these. Any German Chewers that can help?

Those bottlecaps are sweet, though. I'll have to check eBay for those and keep an eye on them.

Those remind me of Astrosniks from mid-80's Happy Meals! Damn, I loved those things...and, I'll bet I'm the only one who remembers them.
