in the role of Kent in William Shakespeare's King Lear...

...Robert Muldoon in Jurassic Park...

Set in 1819 along the border of Haiti and the Dominican Republic, South Carolinian Robert Clark (Tom Hanks) and his daughter Cornelia (Natalie Portman) have come to Haiti looking to dodge the American imposition of a trade embargo with the newly independent Haiti. When told his business contact Monsieur Fabian Brunache (Chadwick Boseman) has retreated to his remote mountain chateau on Pic la Selle, the Clarks follow, desperate to strike the deal that will save their finances. Greeted by Brunache's sister, the widowed Madeleine Lafitte (Danai Gurira), the Clarks find A rival Dominican business magnate, Senor Julian Mejia and his wife, vying for the same control of Haiti's sugar crop. But quickly the Clarks and the Mejias realize everything is not what it seems here.

Starring as Senor Julian Mejia...Mr. Pedro Pascal!
